An affiliate is defined as follows: any entity or individual owning, directly or indirectly (through ownership of one or more other entities), 5% or more of a party. The statement is to be electronically filed as a PDF in conjunction with entering the affiliates in CM/ECF as prompted. As a reminder to counsel, parties must supplement their statements of affiliates within thirty (30) days of any change in the information previously reported. This minute order is being issued to all counsel of record to remind counsel of their obligation to provide updated information as to additional affiliates if such updating is necessary. MOTION by Plaintiff Trustees of the Suburban Teamsters of Northern Illinois Welfare and Pension Funds for extension of time Plaintiffs' Agreed Motion to Extend Time to File Motions for Summary Judgment

49

April 17, 2024

MINUTE entry before the Honorable Nancy L. Maldonado:The Court has reviewed Plaintiff's unopposed motion to extend time to file motions for summary judgment [47]. The Court notes that Judge McShain previously denied the same request because the parties did not show good cause for an extension of two months [46]. Plaintiff provides further explanation in this motion, namely that Plaintiff's counsel is involved in negotiating multiple Union contracts through 5/31/24, which will be time consuming for Plaintiff's counsel. The Court finds Plaintiff has now shown good cause to extend the deadline and grants the motion for the reasons stated therein. The parties' motions for summary judgment are now due 7/15/24. The parties shall submit a proposed agreed briefing schedule on any motion for summary judgment to the Courtroom Deputy upon the filing of any motion.
