MINUTE entry before the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly: Plaintiff's motion for leave to file under seal 11 and motion for leave to file excess pages 12 are granted. Plaintiff's motion for entry of a temporary restraining order and for electronic service 13 is denied, without prejudice to refiling. In the Court's view, sending an email with a link to a website where the relevant papers may be found is insufficient; the service must include the relevant materials (summons, complaint, etc.) as attachments to the email so that they are actually sent to the defendant granted. If and when plaintiff refiles the motion, the draft order will need to be revised and resubmitted accordingly. |
