MINUTE entry before the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly: The plaintiff in this trademark infringement suit has named 248 defendants, all of whom are alleged to be online sellers of infringing items. In the Court's view, that many defendants stretches the bounds of proper joinder past the breaking point. Plaintiff will have to file an amended complaint that names 100 or fewer defendants. The motion for entry of a temporary restraining order [9] is denied without prejudice to refiling and submission of a revised draft TRO that includes only the defendants that remain following amendment.
